Thanks, to the knowledge of Dr. Jordan Peterson we see that many people are actually depressed or highly volatile because they don’t eat. they are in a state of agitation because their bodies are in a state of fight or flight.
You find out what really makes you temperamental and check if you are hungry tired or lonely. Then you can try other things that make life a little bit better. So many times we get angry and upset simply because we haven’t eaten anything recently. However, if you find yourself abnormally crabby then eat a snickers bar and wait 10 minutes and see if your attitude hasn’t shifted.
Now Dr. Peterson gives another great suggestion, and that is if were to eat a high protein high-fat meal at the start of the day. Your day will actually go better than if you wait till the afternoon. The fact that protein and fat stay in your system for a longer amount of time. So you can stay balanced longer thanks to having some bacon and eggs.
So many of us were raised thinking that a high carbohydrate meal is good for us, and I have been believing that’s wrong for several years now. It became even more so as the new nutritional pyramid came out and made a stink because they claimed Lucky Charms is healthier than ground beef.
When you see that, you know that the cereal manufacturers contributed to the study. I don’t blame them because if they get bad publicity then their house of cards falls down. Are carbs good for you? Yeah but processed carbs? I am on the side of no they aren’t. However, I have been on Team Meat and fat for a very long time. Charred animal flesh is needed for humans to be healthy.
